Our owners are our partners and also our guests. Together we provide
outstanding alpine accommodation. You provide the unit and we supply
the service. Together we don’t just try to satisfy our guests we work to astonish
them. And don’t forget, when you arrive your unit will be all ready for you.
We supply the service:
You, your family, and our rental guests will enjoy
- A professional, Tourism BC approved cleaning after every time your unit is used.
- Sanitized linens, bath towels, bath mats, hand towels, face clothes, shower curtains, tea towels, dish clothes, and pot mats.
- Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, tin foil, freezer bags, baggies, saran wrap, and cleaning supplies,
- Complimentary make up removers, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, and coffee whitener.
- No line ups to buy passes, book lessons or get rentals – guests and owners can order in advance and we will deliver them before the lifts start running, all at regular price.

Tourism BC approved means that every Snowflake unit must meet their standards. The list is extensive but at the same time very reasonable. The Tourism BC stamp of approval is highly recognized and respected by the vacationing public world wide.

A Simple Business Proposition
. . . Making the most of your investment
Our Fees – We don’t take a percentage of the rental revenue. We get paid each time we clean, and for each day we book. Our cleaning fee ranges from $69 for a small condo to $259 for the largest chalet with 3 full baths. Our booking fee ranges from $25 per night for the less expensive to $35 per night for the most expensive.
Owner/Partners’ Share – Because our cleaning fees are fixed, it’s obvious that the longer the booking the larger your percentage of the revenue will be. And, of course, if you book your own unit, there will be no booking fee. Although circumstances are slightly different from unit to unit, your share will generally be between 70% and 85%.
Guest Services - Garbage pick up is DAILY, hot tub chemicals are checked DAILY, passes are delivered DAILY, maps, brochures, other ‘things to do’ information are in the unit upon arrival.
Manage Your Unit Online – Each owner can check their bookings online. You can see how our bookings are going, set aside times for your family and friends, and compare the activity of your unit to the others.
Why Key On Service? – Our main competition isn’t here in Hemlock, they are hundreds of KMs away. More and more we see aggressive advertising campaigns that feature other resorts. Sun Peaks, Silver Star and others are capable competitors. And every time a vacationing family visits them, they are not visiting us. Snowflake Resort Chalets, our service, and amenity features give Hemlock Valley the platform from which to compete.
Welcome To Hemlock – Every Snowflake guest receives a letter thanking them for their booking and confirming the dates. 14 days prior to their arrival they receive a ‘Pre-Arrival Package’ that contains maps, brochures, information about their particular rental unit and cautionary info on chains, falling snow, etc. After their departure they receive a written thank-you letter inviting them back.
Pricing – Yes, our units are priced aggressively. In fact, only a few years ago, when we first established price points at $300 per night many were very quick to tell us we were crazy. Today, two of our most popular units rent at New Years for just under $800 per night. We have found that our customers are most willing to pay a fair price for good value.
